In the deep future, there are no trees, nothing can grow in the fetid ground. The rain rips the skin, but must be caught and purified for drinking. One woman survives, except there may be someone ‘across the way’.,
This post-apocalyptic ‘body opera’ explores issues of sustainability, in our relationship to the earth, as well as our own human nature.
A Bella Deluxe production, “Before the End” is available to tour to theaters, universities, conferences and festivals. Residencies and workshops also possible, around the topic of ‘creating artistic expression as an active member of sustainability and peace movement.
